Runestone Insurance Agency was formed in 1993 when Marvin Andreasen, Todd Bright, and Pryce Score purchased the PJ Score Agency  from Palmer Score. The business was operated in the First State Bank of Kensington until 2006 when they relocated the agency out of the bank across main street of Kensington to its current location. Todd Bright is still a full time agent along with selling Channel seed. Josh Andreasen (Marvin's son) was hired in June of 2006 and is still currently employed as a full time agent. Late summer 2006 Runestone Insurance purchased the Hedstrom Agency in Hoffman MN from Dick Rossow. Marv was a worker. He was actively working at the agency in 2019, being a licensed agent for over 50+ years. September 1st 2019 co-owner Marvin passed away after his battle with cancer. In March 2020 Tammy Fluto (Marvin's) daughter was hired on a part time basis after she retired from 30+ years being the head of the Social Security office in Bemidji . Tammy has recently obtained her insurance licenses and is now a life and home agent. Georgia Nelson (Marv's sister) is our other part time agent that takes care of things while Todd, Josh, and Tammy are out.
